Advanced Bids

If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to bid you can email your advance bids to before 5pm on 21st April.

  • A maximum bid placed before by a person unable attend the auction.
  • This will be administered by a ForgetMeNot representative.
  • If the maximum bid is exceeded the FMN representative will cease to bid on their behalf.
  • If the bidding does not reach their maximum bid they will win the lot and pay whatever the last bid was.

Some lots carry a reserve, if this is not met the lot will not be sold.

Payment and collecting work

Once a lot is purchased, it is the property of the purchaser and their responsibility.  Neither shipping nor delivery costs are included in the price at which a lot is sold through the auction.

Payments for purchases must be made in Sterling and in the following forms: cash and all major credit/debit cards.

After payment, the purchaser must remove the Property from ForgetMeNot.  Once funds have cleared, the purchased lots can be collected from ForgetMeNot offices (79 East Road, London.  N1 6AH) as of 26 April 2010.  If the property is not so removed, it may be sent by ForgetMeNot at its discretion to storage for the account, risk and expense of the purchaser and such charges will then be added to the purchase price of the property.
